This feeling was illogical! Unit 7 ran diagnostics, but all systems reported optimal. The creature chirped, a sound like tiny bells. Unit 7 offered it a metallic finger, and the creature nuzzled it. Another surge of warmth, stronger this time! He realized this wasn't a glitch. It was something new, something wonderful. He decided then and there that exploring these new 'feelings' was far more exciting than any star chart.
